The World With Love

Have you ever thought and wondered what it would be like to live in a world where everyone loved other people as much as they loved themselves? Life would be a whole lot different. No body would be bullying anybody and everybody would just be nice to each other. When kids get bullied, they usually lose their self esteem and then eventually it can cause depression and then often times, kids attempt suicide, and many succeed in the action. However, if everybody loved other people as much as they loved themselves, we would not live in a world with so much heart ache and depression. Also, families and communites would be changed a whole lot because everyone would be so nice to each other and everyone would be friends with each other and it would just be great!! In conclusion, the world would be a lot different if everyone loved other people as much as they loved themselves and everybody would just have fun and laugh and talk to each other all the time. Now I don't know about you, but that's a world I would want to live in.

In today’s world, hate is spread more rapidly than ever.Imagine a world where everyone loved one another as much as they loved themselves. In a world like this, 3.2 million students wouldn’t be victims of bullying every year. That includes the 160,000 students who skip school because of bullying daily. The yearly one million people wouldn’t be so upset with this world that they are brought to suicide. Not to mention the 20 who attempt to do so for each one who succeeds. To put it simply, in a world filled with love, everything would be better. Although, it’s impossible to change the way the world works or what everyone decides to do with their own lives, you can take your part in making this world a better place to live in. So, I challenge you to love and respect everyone you encounter. After all, you may just receive that love and respect back.

March Blog Post/New Newspaper Groups

Because we will be starting SAGE Writing on March 29th, I've decided to just ask you to work on the newspaper and prepare for SAGE during the time you'd usually do the blog. No Blog Post this month! You will need to do a writing contest.

We need to prepare the April and May issues of the amazing Gecko Gazette! Here are your new groups to work with. You will need to sign up for FLEX or talk together in class and make a plan for the new issue: let's make this one better than ever! You can totally overhaul the page, try out new ideas, etc. Do everything you can to appeal to the readers.

Please let me know who the captain of your section will be. Because you all are experienced newspaper writers, I feel you could work anywhere and with anyone. I used the Random Wheel of Wonder to decide your fates. Have a great time!! The April newspaper needs to be ready to print on April 1st.

Rainbows and Pain

Imagine a world in which you could dream

Imagine where you are all are friends

If you could be yourself with no judgement

There would be no bullies, no haters

You could feel love, unconditional love

But how can you know love if there is no pain

You can create this world through your example,

but you still need pain before you can know love

"Everyone wants rainbows,
no one wants rain,
but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain"
If everyone loved everyone else as much as they loved themselves there would be no crime, or murderers.  The world would be an extremely safe place.  There would be no ISIS or other terror groups.  Imagine a world with everyone enjoying each others company, without getting jealous or hateful.  This would be amazing.  Homeless people would be a thing of the past.
Loving Everyone

What do you think the world would be like if everyone loved each other as much as they do themselves? What if people focused on helping other people more then making sure their own life is great? Our world would be a much better and safer place if everyone loved everyone the same.

If everyone loved each other the same there would be not nearly as much problems as we have today. Also, there would be no more people being killed, no body would be fighting with friends or family, and there would be hardly any crimes. Also, the news channels wouldn’t have a lot of crime to report on. Poverty would only be seen in countries that have a low income rate. There would not be bullying anymore either which would be huge because kids these days are almost always experiencing bullying. Our world would be a much better place if everyone loved each other the same.

In conclusion, our world would be much safer and better if everyone loved each other the same.If you don't love people enough now, they might not be there in the future when you might need them.So if you want people to be there for you, you might want to start loving them as much as you love yourself.

Love The World Around You

In today's society, it is sad to see the amount of bullying and hate-filled comments some people make to one another. Sometimes comments are made that unintentionally hurt another person, and other times, people will purposely put one another down. Imagine how much better our world would be if everyone treated each other the way they felt about themselves. There would be very few arguments or wars, and our world would be filled with love. Our world would be much more happy, and we wouldn't put others down the way we do today. The world would be a much better place.
Families would be happier in this world. There would be fewer arguments among family members. Friendships would also be very different, because everyone would likely have a lot more friends than they do today. We would all be kind to each other, and work together to get things done. Our world would be filled with love rather than hate.
