Frankenstein!

I took off my Halloween costume, washed the paint off my face, put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I was almost asleep when I first heard the sound … of what sounded like Frankenstein. I crawled out of bed over to my window and peeked my head out the window, and there he was a 6 foot 9 inches big huge Frankenstein. As I was looking out of the window be feet slid from under me and I fell on my face. It made a loud “thump’’, and he turned and looked at my window and started to run towards the mountains. I grabbed my shoes and my coat, ran down-stairs, and headed out the door to go find Frankenstein!

I headed towards the mountain Frankenstein was going to and I was running as fast as I could. Within 10 minutes of my journey I could finally see him up about 20 yards or so in front of me. I hurried to try and catch up to him. After a second I finally caught up to him. When I looked up at him I saw how huge he was and his, big head, the giant big bolt things in his head, his giant arms, and I almost pooped my pants because he was so awesome looking. After I was done admiring him I looked at him and said “Are you the real Frankenstein”, he looked at me and said in a Darth Vader like voice ‘’Yes I am, and who might you be?” “My name is Jim Trump,” I said in a soft voice.

After that, he looked at me and said, “Follow me!” I asked no questions and I just followed him. After a while I started to get a little scared, but we were almost to the top of the mountain. Finally, when we got to the top of the mountain I said “What now?”, and he said, “Just watch.” After sitting there for a minute the ground started to shake, and then the ground started to move apart and I grabbed onto a tree because I was scared. After the ground stopped moving there was a big hole in the ground. Frankenstein looked at me and said, “Come on,” as he jumped into the whole. I thought about it for a second then I finally jumped and after 3 seconds I finally landed on a giant net. I laid there for a second and then Frankenstein helped me down.

Finally, after Frankenstein helped me down I stood up and you would never believe what I saw! Right in front of me were at least 21 more creature things that looked exactly like Frankenstein. I looked at him and said, “Who are they?” “That is my family.” he said. I was totally frozen. Seeing one Frankenstein is scary at first , but seeing 21 more just makes you want to scream and run for your life. After a while of being a shock I finally realized that it wasn’t a dream. I finally broke the silence by saying, “Hi my name is Jim Trump.” Then all of the monster like things shouted out in a loud voice, “Hello.” Everybody started to form in a circle around me and Frankenstein. At first I didn’t know what to think of all of this, but after I just tried to put human faces on all of the creature things.

During the time I was trying to put human faces on the creatures I realized that I can’t put faces on them. After I sat there for a while I just thought in my head I’m just gonna run. I sat there for about 3 more seconds then I bolted. While I was running I saw an elevator so I ran to it and took it up back to the surface. Once I got back to the surface I started to run as fast as I could down the hill. After about 20 minutes I finally got back to my house. I ran inside and bolted back to my room. I took off my shoes and hung up my coat and fell asleep. When I woke up everything was okay, but then when I went to look out my window I saw Frankenstein. That night I looked out my window and I didn’t see him. After that night I’ve never seen him again!

The End

  1. Nice job Carston! I really liked how you used Frankenstein in your story. What would it look like if you added more smiley face tricks?

  2. I think your story was great but was clearly rushed in the way that there is no mystery about the magnificent Frankenstein. I wonder how it would have sounded if the monster was mysterious and slowly introduced to the reader in a creepy way.

  10. I liked how you got to meet Frankenstein and make him have a family. What would your writing look like if you made your sentences not as long (more punctuation).
