My Life as a Writer

Ever since I was little,  I've liked writing stories or songs.  This summer, I started writing a song. What inspired me to write the song is when I was listening to a Taylor Swift song. I really liked the lyrics and thought they related to me perfectly. I haven't quite finished the song, but hope to sometime when I get inpired to write another verse. I have also written a few stories over the years. I love writing romance stories and think they are so fun to read. I have written so many that it's hard to keep track of them all. Most of them are unfinished, but I am almost done with my most recent one. I get inspired to write them all from the books I read. I take some of the characters and change them up a bit. I'm really glad that I'm in Honors LA cause I really love reading and writing. I can already tell that this year is gonna be great!

    its cool that you've been making storys and songs ever since you were little, and that your songs are insipired by somone you sorta look up to, and i can't really find anything for you to work on

    I like it how you like to listen to music( I like to listen to music also). It is a good start to get inspiration from. I was also wondering what type of music you like to listen to.

    Like you, I write song and stories since I could remember. It's really fun and cool.

    I like that you get your inspiration from music. I think your story was awesome and I don't think you need to work on anything.

    Good job Tayli! That is really cool that you like to write songs as well as stories. I think it is good to get inspiration from things like Taylor Swift songs or books also. Maybe you could tell us more about what kind of characters you change up. Keep up the good writing!

    I love that you have such diversity in your writing: that is excellent! I really like how you read a lot and listen to music, focusing on the words, to inspire you to write. Being able to draw idea from the words around you, in a lot of forms, is awesome! Way to go;) I'm glad you're in the class too and I do think it will be a fantastic year!
