My Life as a Writer
When I was little, I loved to write books! Not only did I write the books, but I also drew pictures in them. I would fold three or four papers in half and then staple them in the middle. I wouldn't write much on a page, usually just a sentence or two. My dad would buy little paper books at the store for maybe fifty cents, and I would try to write a whole book but I would get really bored just writing about one subject. So, I decided one day that I would make one big book with lots and lots of little stories in it. I would write books about anything! One time I wrote a book about a lampshade, a lampshade! His name was Johnny and he went on an adventure to China. He became best friends with an elephant and apparently she was Dumbo's daughter.(I had just watched Dumbo) Yep, that's what I wrote about, anything could give me inspiration!

ReplyDeleteOh I love this! That is beyond cool to write about the adventures of a lampshade! That shows me you have great creativity:) I love that you combined art and writing too. I can just feel this is going to be a great year for you! Happy to have you in the class:)

I remember being little and writing books too! ;) The only difference is, when I was little, I would write books that were exactly like another book, with different character names.( The main character was always named Olivia) I remember being little! I can't wait to read more!!
